Why do we Asana?

First of all, please understand that the mind "remembers the actions of the body through the mind."


The whole idea of yoga is to know our bodies, to know our minds, to know our bodies, to seem to know something, but actually we don't know exactly.
The hope is that by knowing our bodies, by knowing our minds, we can know who we are.
The whole purpose of yoga practice is to actually know what this connection is, what this connection between body and mind is.
